THE WINES OF MENDOZA

High altitude vineyards are separated into three main sections: Lujan de Cuyo, Valle de Uco, and Maipu. The soil paired with the continental climate and semi arid desert conditions make this area perfect for viticulture. Known mostly for its Malbec, Mendoza also produces plantings for Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc, among others.
